Scholarship Opportunities

Rudolf Steiner College offers financial aid through personal loans and scholarships for the Waldorf Teacher Training Programs and other matriculated programs.

RSC Tuition Loans

RSC offers tuition loans created specifically for students attending our programs. Interest and fees are necessary to offer this service. RSC Loans are not government subsidized or bank loans. Payments are managed by NLSC under the direction of RSC.

IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT RSC LOANS FOR TUITION:

Interest Rate: 9% variable interest rate (adjusted after March 1 of every year on the anniversary of the loan when prime rate reaches 6%). Interest begins on the first day of class.

Loan Fee: Non-refundable processing fee of $135 on loans $3,000 and over; $85 on loans under $3,000. Returning students with loans can have them combined for a loan fee of $85.

Loan Amount: Minimum loan amount is $1500. Maximum loan amount is 65% of the tuition (minus scholarship) 100% tuition loans are not available. Loans are not available for educational expenses or living expenses.

Loan payments: ALL loan payments begin the first month after classes begin unless there is an approved request to do otherwise.

NOTE:

  • Students in two to three-year programs need to plan for cumulative loan payments.
  • A Financial Aid application must be provided every year.
  • Minimum loan payment per month is $150.
  • There are no prepayment penalties.

    Scholarships*

    We are grateful to all of the people who have generously donated funds to help students attend Rudolf Steiner College.

    cholarships are given based solely on need for a small percentage of the total tuition. The College has a limited amount of monies to grant to students enrolled in teacher training programs and every effort is made to assist all the students requiring financial assistance.

    Scholarship request requires:

    * Scholarships are considered loans that will be forgiven upon graduation. Withdrawing or not graduating from an RSC program will void related scholarships and the full amount of these scholarships must be repaid to the college. Your signature on the Award Letter accepting the scholarship monies guarantees payment of these funds in such an event.
