Child & Community: Therapeutic Challenges in the 21st Century Registration closes February 15th. If you miss the deadline you can still register at the door.

February 20-23, 2011 — Fair Oaks, California

Keynote Speakers Michaela Glöckler, MD, Adam Blanning, MD, & Astrid Schmitt-Stegmann, MA

We have amazing and wonderful children in the world today. They bring a depth and wisdom far beyond their years that surely the world needs now. But the challenges they face to bring their gifts to the planet are huge. An unprecedented number of children are arriving at schools—including Waldorf schools—with some sort of learning problem, disability, or dysfunction—from ADD/ADHD to autism, as well as exhibiting deficits in social capacities. Alongside this “epidemic” of learning and behavioral issues is a new generation of parents who often find it difficult to work with teachers and school communities. This conference will present pedagogical and therapeutic insights that address these crucial issues.

Conference Fee: $200
