Art of Teaching Grades 1—8: Each summer, teachers from around the country come to our Fair Oaks campus to focus on the curriculum for particular grades. Separate week-long intensive sessions focus on kindergarten and each grade 1 through 8. >>Learn more
Early Childhood and High School: Each summer, courses are given on various topics related to early childhood and high school teaching. The subjects range widely from crafts, music, and literature to math science, history, and discipline.
Pedagogical Deepening: Patrick Wakeford-Evans, Academic Dean and Director of the Full-time Waldorf Teacher Education, Program, convenes a seminar in alternate summers to offer artistic practice and meditative deepening in anthroposophy and Waldorf education. Previous sessions have focused on transformative movement, understanding the etheric forces, and artistic understanding of astral forces.
